Fern Ridge Lake Fishing NewsThe lake is known to have windy days which are great for sail boats, but can keep small boats out of the open water. Luckily, the southern edge of the lake provides many inlets and sloughs for small boaters on windy days. Crappie is the main attraction for most anglers at Fern Ridge. Fishing for Catfish and Bass can also be quite rewarding at the lake. The Crappie in Fern Ridge often grow over 12 inches.
